Fortify formed in January 2015. It was only in January 2016 that any prgression was made once JD joined on drums. Fortify take their influences fom bands such as, A Day To Remember, Tonight Alive, Pierce The Veil and Fightstar.

Since then Fortify have been recorded with professional producer Oz Craggs, Who helped produce their first single "Emergency Exit"

This got them noticed by Ollie Winiberg on BBC INTRODUCING. Who invited them on to do a live lounge.

They have also won a local battle of the bands winning £1000, which would be put towards their EP.
